Ted Rebeck and Ellen Brodsky ready the Snack Shelter for their class on the "Nature of Touch".

This gives a very clear idea about what Ted and Ellen want the camper to think about during the class.

Holding a bunch of Bedstraw, Ellen asks the campers to try to think of a way to describe it to a blind person - by touching it.

Everyone gets a change to tease their brain with this thought provoking challenge.

Later in the class students are asked to describe and identify plants - by touch only.

Here, CIT Jessica Repep helps campers write down class observations.

Now it gets interesting. Ted and Ellen had all the campers line up behind CIT Tony and Counselor Conner.

Then, Camper Carrie is asked to don a blind fold...

.... and have whiskers placed on her wrists. The goal, to try to use the whiskers to move down the line without bumping into anyone.

Here, Carrie moves gingerly through the maze.

Success!

Another camper makes it with only the aid of their "whiskers".

Two more campers get to join in the fun.
