Jon Altemus works with the campers during the morning session creating art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist. The campers' produced site-specific sculptures using natural and found objects, to create temporary art, which draws off the character of the natural environment.

The campers are broken into small groups lead by a CIT or Counselor and gather natural materials around camp. They bring them back to the snack shelter and build fantastic sculptures using grasses, twigs, berries, stones, mud and leaves. Their imagination is the only limit to what they can make. Often unexpected treasures are created by campers who never thought of themselves as artists.
